A full day at NYU meant everything from morning coffee to lab time, clinical work, and learning something new. I completed a diastema closure in clinic today — and it's wild how different clinical work feels when you're actually doing it versus watching. It looks easy at first, then reality checks in, but you learn, you try, and you grow.
Some days look chill on the calendar and some weeks are packed, but every single day here teaches me something new. That's the real value of being in this program.
Behind the scenes, I'm also creating INBDE study plans for my students and putting together comprehensive CAAPID application documents with everything you need in one place — Statement of Purpose, CV, Letters of Recommendation, and timelines. If you're a foreign-trained dentist planning to apply this CAAPID cycle, comment and I'll share the full document with you.
One day at a time. One procedure at a time. This is the journey and I'm sharing it all.
