If you're just watching videos and calling it studying, you're wasting time. This is one of the biggest mistakes I see international dental graduates make during their INBDE prep. Passive consumption feels productive, but it doesn't build the knowledge retention and problem-solving skills you actually need to pass.
Real studying means active engagement: taking notes, doing practice problems, explaining concepts out loud, and testing yourself repeatedly. Your brain needs friction and challenge to actually learn the material. If you're not uncomfortable while studying, you're probably not studying hard enough.
The difference between passing and struggling often comes down to study quality, not study quantity. Start being honest with yourself about what "studying" actually looks like, and watch your results transform.
